Architectural Design Intern

As the *Architectural Design Intern* for Summer of 2026 with *Culver Franchising System*, you will gain hands on experience with coordinating design documentation, creating virtual models, and creating and updating BIM families to advance ongoing efforts to convert from CAD to Revit. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing documents so that the Culver’s prototype standards are consistent with Franchisee architect construction documents.

Internship Responsibilities Include:

* Assist the Director of Architecture, Engineering and Construction and Interior Designers with design projects, including drafting and documentation
* Develop virtual models for specific design disciplines
* Advance design documentation to fully utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) software capabilities
* Assist in construction drawings based on the discipline BIM platform
* Create and maintain a BIM library and update BIM families
* Review incoming franchisee’s design team construction documents for compliance with Culver Franchising standards

Requirements:

* Current enrollment in Architecture, Architecture Technology, or related program; Juniors and Seniors preferred
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of BIM software including AutoCAD and Revit programs; Revu Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat drawing review tools are a plus
* Familiarity with the architectural and design industry including principles, practices, and current trends
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Restaurant experience is a plus (especially Culver’s!)

Starting Pay Range: Starting at $17.00+ per hour

This is a full-time, paid, 12-week summer internship at our Support Center in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin right on the Wisconsin River, just a short drive from Madison! xhqgsiq
