The client is seeking an Area Director of Catering and Conference Services who will oversee teams at two prominent hospitality properties, consisting of a luxury hotel and an adjacent event center.

This leader will drive creativity and strategic initiatives for catering and conference services, ensuring the properties stand out in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a dynamic marketing plan that adapts throughout the year, managing major events and VIP accounts, and fostering repeat business.
The Area Director will collaborate with Group Sales to design menus that satisfy client needs while optimizing revenue opportunities.
The role involves regular revenue forecasting, efficient labor expense management, and reviewing departmental structures to improve performance.
Additionally, the director will work with Food and Beverage and Banquet leaders to establish operational standards and procedures, while also aligning event offerings with a local restaurant group.
Qualified candidates should have over five years of leadership experience in catering and conference services at boutique or luxury hotels or resorts.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
Strong leadership skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Delphi experience are required, while CMP certification is preferred.
The role demands flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
