This position provides benefits consulting services to employers ranging from 2 to 10,000 employees in metropolitan markets. Will travel to assist clients in open enrollment meetings. Assists in all benefits department functions. Develops good client relationships and gives outstanding customer service.

Compensation:

$51,000 - $85,000 yearly


Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

  • Meets with clients, discusses benefit options, solicits quotes, presents alternatives, conducts open enrollment, and leads through the underwriting process
  • Researches, analyzes, and evaluates corporate benefit plans and programs
  • Monitors benefit trends in the business environment and must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation
  • Serves as an expert in a variety of fields' concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks
  • May lead and direct the work of others
  • Manages the renewal cycle and client servicing with key departments
  • Maintains strong relationships with small groups and mid-market sales representatives and
