Chemical Data Entry Specialist Highlights:

  • Schedule: Day shift, Mon???Fri, 8 hours ??? 4 days on-site (Mon???Thurs) / 1 remote day (Fri)
  • Pay Range: $20-25 Hourly
  • Flexible hours needed 2???3 days/week to support occasional international meetings (not later than 8 PM)

Chemical Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Aid in data entry and cleanup of chemical records
  • Reassign / remove duplicate materials, CAS records, orphaned records
  • Maintain and update complex files or record systems, including SAP and other chemical management tools
  • Audit chemical records for completeness and compliance with minimum expectations
  • Pull data and complete documentation in support of regulatory reporting
  • Review responses with team for regulatory submissions
  • Assist with layout, formatting, and summarizing data into reports
  • Support data automation efforts and use AI productivity tools like Copilot when needed

Chemical Data Entry Specialist Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a science field required; Chemistry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor-level coursework in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an office setting preferred (corporate or internship acceptable)
  • Basic Excel skills required; macros and Power BI experience preferred
  • Familiarity with CAS numbers, safety data sheets, regulatory documentation, and chemical data management
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Good administrative and general software skills; training provided on internal systems
  • Requires basic chemistry knowledge + strong data analysis skills
