Job Description The position is for a hybrid data reviewer and technical analyst role. This scientist will be primarily focused on performing data review within the Biologics department, but will also be expected to perform benchwork on occasion. This position is expected to be on-site. An ideal candidate would demonstrate good dexterity; positive attitude; solution driven; good work habits (organized, efficient, careful, safety-conscious, accurate); attention to detail; sound scientific logic; good oral and written communication skills; understanding of instrumentation; client service focused; demonstration of organizational skills; ability to work with moderate supervision upon training completion on assigned task; ability to handle multitasking.

Performs/review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures

Performs or reviews routine and non-routine analyses; instrumental analyses; including calibration and troubleshooting of instruments independently

Documents testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements – striving to minimize errors

Understands and performs calculations as required by test methods

Understands and utilizes computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation/review

Reads and understands analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOPs – demonstrates technical writing skills

Processes/reviews data, generates/reviews reports, and evaluates data

Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing – independently seeks out work

Performs laboratory maintenance as required

Commits to occasional overtime as workload requires

Supports LEAN initiatives

Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Communicates effectively with client staff members

Ensures good housekeeping with a neat, clean and orderly workspace

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and 2+ years laboratory experience

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
