Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pediatrician to join a collaborative healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide evaluations, counseling, and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families experiencing a range of developmental and behavioral concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical, developmental, and emotional-behavioral evaluations for patients aged 18 months to 21 years.
- Perform specialty assessments as needed (e.g., genetic dysmorphology, motor functioning, feeding/diet, sleep).
- Provide treatment services within an interdisciplinary framework, including psychopharmacology, behavioral interventions, parent counseling, and participation in desensitization protocols for medical or dental procedures.
- Utilize standardized questionnaires, diagnostic assessments for autism, and specialty assessments for ADHD and anxiety.
- Manage a caseload of evaluations and medication follow-ups weekly.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to discuss complex cases and develop specialized assessment and treatment programs.
- Provide consultation to pediatric and behavioral health staff regarding neurodevelopmental concerns.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with valid DEA license
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
- 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
- Strong commitment to patient care and ethical practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
