Family/Internal Medicine Provider for Pioneering Health Center

Fantastic opportunity to care for an engaged, fit, and motivated population of first responders, and their family members, representing nearly 40 fire, law enforcement, and paramedic agencies. Collaborate with physical therapy, exercise physiology, mental health, massage therapy, and acupuncture professionals in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary outpatient setting. ERHC offers a paid, informal 2-month fellowship program to orient our onboarding medical providers with our highly advanced, occupationally-relevant, and specialized medical protocols.

We’re seeking top-caliber family medicine providers to deliver broad-spectrum family medicine care in an outpatient clinic environment, spanning in-depth, duty-specific Annual Wellness Exams and leading-edge cardiac and cancer screenings; occupational/sports medicine and continuity family medicine care; and mental health screening.

Full-Time Schedule:

  • Weekdays (4 days per week)
  • Rotating Saturday clinic (partial day; frequency dependent upon clinical staffing levels)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • MD/DO credentials (preferred)
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Dual Board Certification in Sports Medicine (preferred)
  • APP credentials
  • NP/PA or DNP/PA Licensure in Washington (can move for reciprocity with ID licenses)


Desired/Competitive Qualifications:

  • Willingness to undergo mentorship to learn the basics of exercise physiology, develop proficiency in exercise cardiac stress testing, and support ultrasound-based cardiac and cancer screening
  • Willingness to adopt ERHC’s “depth-of-care” standards for patient-centered care
  • Willingness to participate in an informal paid fellowship (2 months), on-going mentorship, and independent study toward mastering specialized clinical protocols, including understanding of first responder occupational health standards, workplace exposures and risks, and culture

Work Location/Travel:

  • Single clinic site (WA)
  • Periodic travel clinic opportunities in scenic Idaho locations; opportunity to participate in two-week summer rotation in Valdez, AK
  • Physician-designed health center facilities housing exam rooms, digital X-ray imaging, cardiac stress test suites, VO2-max testing, laboratory, procedure room, and physical therapy studio; ultrasound imaging services to go live by 2026
  • Mental Health Therapy, Massage Therapy, and Acupuncture* fully integrated into primary care model (*currently available at Boise ERHC Wellness Center location)

Compensation:

  • Expected salary range is $250,000–$300,000 annually , competitive base salary with generous bonus compensation based on productivity and performance, plus a sign-on bonus.
