Job Description
The Family Medicine Physician will provide full‐scope primary care in an outpatient clinical setting. This role delivers high‐quality, cost‐effective care while meeting the diverse health and social needs of the patient population. The physician will perform comprehensive patient examinations, preventive screenings, diagnosis, treatment, and contribute to a relationship‐based model of care with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care , including preventive care, primary diagnosis, treatment, and (if applicable) inpatient medical care.
- Conduct complete patient examinations and perform routine health maintenance screenings.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation according to clinic protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical compliance activities.
- Offer call coverage and inpatient care as required by organizational needs.
- Serve as a preceptor to trainees when appropriate.
- Ensure patient privacy through strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Comply with all applicable safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver patient‐centered care addressing medical, social, and behavioral needs.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine .
- Graduation from an accredited medical school .
- Preferably three years of primary care experience , ideally in underserved or community‐based environments.
Qualifications
- Active, valid state medical license , including DEA registration and current CPR certification.
- Strong understanding of clinical policy, protocols, legal/regulatory requirements , and healthcare quality standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team‐based care model .
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering culturally sensitive care.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
