Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist serving students across K-12 grades, covering early childhood through high school levels in Ellsworth, ME. The role is ideal for professionals with experience supporting a diverse student population, including elementary, middle, and high school settings. The contract runs from January 2026 through June 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to the developmental needs of students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education staff to support students learning and functional goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote student success across school activities
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with the educational team
Qualifications:
- Active state license as a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and student-centered therapy
