Job Role

Radiographers play a vital role in performing x-ray procedures to aid disease diagnosis and injury assessment.

They operate mobile and stationary x-ray units safely to produce high-quality images, adhering to ALARA principles.

In addition to radiography procedures, they may assist with other tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign collection.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of radiologists to perform various imaging procedures, including diagnostic, fluoro, and OR/C-Arm imaging.

Responsibilities also include maintaining patient care areas and assisting with room setup.

Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Candidates must have completed an approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
  • Prior clinical radiology experience is preferred, with at least one year of experience in the field.
Certifications and Licenses
  • A BLS certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Texas driver's license is required for job duties.
  • Candidates must possess a Medical Radiologic Technology Certificate from Texas. xhqgsiq
  • An ARRT Certification in Radiography (R.T. (R)) is essential for this position.
