IT Manager

Rio Grande Hospital in Del Norte Colorado has a Full time IT Director Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Leading and motivating the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management. Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the organization’s overall business objectives. Overseeing the management and maintenance of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and security. Managing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Managing the IT budget, including forecasting and expense tracking. Communicating IT matters effectively with both IT staff and other departments, including senior management. Ensuring the security of the organization’s IT infrastructure and data, identifying and mitigating security risks. Building and maintaining relationships with IT vendors. Addressing IT-related issues and challenges effectively. Assessing and recommending new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Microsoft or Cisco certifications, ITIL and PMP certifications are often valued. Equipment Knowledge: Virtualization, Backup, DR, Cybersecurity

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
