Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide support across early childhood through high school grade levels (K-12) at a school located in El Paso, TX. This role offers the chance to work with diverse age groups spanning early childhood, elementary, middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) students.
Qualifications:
- Active state Occupational Therapy license is required
- Experience working in educational settings with children from early childhood through high school is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and therapists to support student developmental needs
Position Details:
- Contract duration: January 2026 to June 2026
- Minimum 30 hours per week, 5 days a week schedule
- Focus on providing occupational therapy services compliant with school protocols and individualized education programs
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborating with school staff to implement therapy strategies that enhance student participation and learning
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and school guidelines
- Supporting students' functional skills to maximize their success in academic and social environments
