Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services to students across grades K-12 in a school setting located in Tacoma, WA. The role starts in January 2026 and runs through June 2026, offering a chance to make a significant impact on the development and well-being of students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the unique needs of students in grades K-12.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to support educational and functional goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Active State License as an Occupational Therapist is required.
  • Experience working with students across various grade levels (K through 12 preferred).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of school-age children.

Job Details:

  • Contract position from January 2026 to June 2026.
  • 30 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Serving ages kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Located in Tacoma, Washington.
