As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse in our clinic, your duties will include various lab procedures, patient care responsibilities, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient care duties, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens.
- Assist providers in examination and treatment of patients, as well as with procedures.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist with patient-related communications.
- Schedule test appointments, results, and pre-certification.
To be successful in this role, we require our LVNs to have a strong foundation in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, certification, an active LVN license in their state of employment or compact, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are necessary requirements.
