About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic Operations Admin Associate to join our growing education services startup. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, "whatever it takes" environment and wants to make a real impact supporting educators nationwide. You'll serve as our front-line support hero, helping teachers and school administrators while gaining valuable experience across multiple operational disciplines.

What You'll Do

Help Desk Support (50% of role):

• Provide first-line technical support via Zendesk ticketing system and live chat

• Assist teachers and school administrators with software troubleshooting and

technical questions

• Fielding approximately 20 support tickets daily, at times heavier during peak

seasons

• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate team members

• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and resolutions


Administrative Support (50% of role):

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records across multiple systems

• Support project management activities and logistical tracking

• Handle correspondence with internal teams and external partners

• Complete tasks as assigned across IT, project management, and general operations

• Assist with various operational initiatives as the company scales


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proficiency with standard office software suites (Microsoft Office, Google

Workspace)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to code-switch communication style based on audience needs

• High level of empathy when working with frustrated or confused users

• Critical thinking skills and ability to problem-solve on the fly

• Comfort learning new software and processes quickly


Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk preferred)

• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello)

• Previous customer service or technical support experience

• Understanding of basic IT troubleshooting principles

• Patience and empathy when supporting users with varying technical skill levels

• Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing startup environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Team player mentality with a "whatever it takes" attitude

Our Team

You'll be joining a core operations team of 6 dedicated professionals, with 4 team members based in your office location. You'll work closely with 2 team leads who will provide guidance, training, and support as you develop your skills in this role.
