Job Description

The Operations Technician supports day‑to‑day production activities across multiple departments to ensure efficient, high‑quality operations. This role is cross‑functional and may assist with assembly, shipping and receiving, machining, quality checks, controls support, and service‑related tasks. The Operations Technician plays a key role in maintaining workflow, meeting production deadlines, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Range: $22/hour - $28/hour

Job Responsibilities -  Operations Technician 

• Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment, components, and sub‑assemblies according to drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including packaging, labeling, loading/unloading materials, and verifying incoming shipments
• Perform basic machining tasks such as operating manual machines, saws, drills, or other shop equipment as needed
• Conduct in‑process and final quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and company standards
• Provide support to the controls team, including wiring, panel work, or basic troubleshooting under supervision
• Assist with field or in‑house service work, including equipment preparation, testing, and occasional hands‑on support during installations or repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify process improvements and support operational efficiency
• Complete required documentation accurately, including work orders, inspection forms, and inventory records
• Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed

Desired S k ills & Experience -  Operations Technician 

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or vocational coursework preferred
• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, machining, or related operations environment is beneficial
• Machining and electrical experience and knowledge is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills across multiple departments
• Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tasks
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
• Experience with using different types of pneumatic, electrical, and hand tools
• Able to stand or walk for the majority of the day and able to lift 50lbs on a needed basis and up to 75 pounds with assistance
• Able to regularly apply physical mobility (stretching, lifting, bending, twisting, etc.) to perform all assembly related assignments

Compensation details: 22-28 Hourly Wage
