About the Role
We are seeking a Patient Access Support team member to join our front-line staff. In this role, you will be responsible for completing patient registration, assisting walk-in patients, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. You are the first point of contact for patients, and you play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
What You’ll Do
- Check in patients for all appointments
- Verify accuracy of patient paperwork and demographics
- Enter patient data into the EHR
- Receive and process co-payments and payments accurately
- Maintain front-desk responsibilities and monitor patient flow
- Identify patients in need of financial assistance and refer to the Financial Advocate
- Work assigned work queues efficiently
- Ensure patient charts are accurate and complete, including scanning documents
- Support the organization’s quality improvement program
- Ensure UDS data is entered correctly in the EHR

What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare office setting preferred
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Epic experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a patient-centered mindset
