Psychiatrist for VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN
Location : Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center – Memphis, TN
Position Type : Full-time, Contract (1099) | Federal Healthcare Opportunity
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate | Long-Term Contract
MDPerm is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive onsite psychiatric services at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center.
This position supports Veterans in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, delivering care consistent with state-of-the-art civilian medical standards.
Schedule & Work Hours- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Clinic Hours)
- On-call coverage required during evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Phone response required within 15 minutes while on-call
- Onsite response required within 60 minutes when called in
- Weekend inpatient coverage as needed (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Manage admissions, ongoing treatment, and discharge/
