Special Procedure Tech Interventional Radiology Full Time Days

Position Summary

The Special Procedure Tech performs direct and indirect functions in the Interventional Radiology. Assists all staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care. Utilizing specialized equipment to perform a variety of invasive, surgical and diagnostic procedures. Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient and physician usage. Maintains inventory levels in department. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
   

EXPERIENCE

• Prefer one year hospital experience providing cardiac cath, radiology, or special procedures experience.
   

LICENSE

• Current ARRT License
   

CERTIFICATIONS

• General Radiographer certification, State of Florida (HRS )
• Current BLS certification
