Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is a contract opportunity based in Waterbury, CT, with a start date ASAP and an end date of June 9, 2026. The role involves working 35 hours per week onsite, from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, split between two elementary schools (sites to be determined). Candidates will support a range of disability categories within general education inclusion settings without specialized classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.
- Provide services across two elementary school sites as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut is required.
- CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) are required; candidates with Clinical Fellow (CF) status will also be considered.
- School-based experience is mandatory.
- Candidates must have completed district fingerprinting and background checks.
- SLPA candidates will not be considered.
