Travel Oncology RN in Sergeant Bluff, IA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS Oncology RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Oncology care is needed for a travel assignment in Sergeant Bluff, IA. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients per established protocols
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize clinical judgment to manage complex situations in a fast-paced environment
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records system
• Assist in charge and precepting duties as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license with experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology nursing
• Proficiency in EMR systems, ideally EPIC
• Comfortable working across multiple campuses within the same discipline
• Ability to work call-back shifts and holiday/OT as required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule and Compensation Details:

• Approximately 36-40 hours per week, with billable overtime beyond 40 hours
• Night shift differential of 1.15x and call-back rate of 1.5x (minimum 2 hours)
• On-call pay at $9 per hour; charge/precept pay at $6 per hour
• Orientation sessions conducted regularly on specified dates through December
