Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An occupational therapy professional is needed for a travel assignment in a school setting located in Des Plaines, IL. This role focuses on supporting students developmental and functional needs by providing therapeutic interventions designed to improve their ability to perform daily activities in the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess students abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques to fit the school setting and student requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience working within school systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned location and adapt to different school environments.
  • Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and educational regulations.

Location: Des Plaines, Illinois, with travel as required by the assignment.
